-- My answer is it has nothing to do with the money and I'm not into prestige. I have two bills to my name, Mortgage and a credit card, other than necessities of life that everyone else has as well. I don't have club bills, car payments, child support payments, or expensive hobbies. Since I'm relatively unknown let me share this with you. While working for Okaloosa County Sheriff's office over my 3 years, I managed to save $40,000. This enabled me to purchase my personal vehicle and one for my child. I still had $25,000 in the savings. So as for the money "motivation", not true. I'm happy with whatever my bosses, or in this case, the citizens pay for the job I do. As for the prestige issue, I've never in my life sought prestige as a goal to obtain. However, this position is prestigous in nature. Now instead of representing myself I'll have the opportunity to represent the entire county of Okaloosa on behalf of its citizens. That is an amazing attribute, but not a main goal.

-- Well Jordin, as for your comment concerning qualifications I submit the following: 26-years Law Enforcement experience, managed a COLLECTIVE-BARGAINING Federal Police Unit, earned a Master's in Business Administration, BS Criminal Justice, and AAS from CC of the Air Force. I've won major awards like Gen Henry Leadership Award, as an enlisted member. Here's another note you conveniently left out that the current Sheriff has 34-years Law Enforcement experience. But, what you didn't say concerning me is that he is 14-years senior in AGE to me. When I reach his age I'll have just under 40-years Law Enforcement experience.

As for vision and respect I'll tell you this, I'm the only candidate that has presented a pay plan and health plan (basic numbers) to a County Commissioners to review. I know the County Commissioners has to cut $8-$10 million dollars from the budget. The Sheriff's Office is a MAJOR part of their budget. The Sheriff sent an email out to his employees asking them to consider retiring early. But you haven't reviewed my website that shows the TOP 10 Positions, left names out intentionally, costing the tax payers upwards of $1.1 million dollars. I further added the TOP 20 positions that raises the cost tax payers have to almost $2 million dollars. Its funny that the other 325 + employees have to share the remaining personal budget that equates to approximately $36,000 as an annual salary. As for respect, I'm gaining that daily and have amassed that from a multitude of citizens in Okaloosa County. However, in your use of the word "Respect" in reference to "specific citizens of Okaloosa County", I'll submit again that they don't know me yet. But as you can see after the forum I'm making an impact.
