I will remove the remaining untrustworthy individuals from the Sheriff's Office. 
- I will review all appropriate Internal, State and Federal Investigation document before determining who will be deemed untrustworthy in my eyes.
- They took mass amounts of Performance bonuses without reason at tax-payers expense.

I will place the full Accountability of the Office Of the Sheriff on my shoulders.
- I will petition the BCC to assume mileage rate for the Office of the Sheriff.
- This will put the power back in the voter's hands by having a say on the Sheriff's budget. 
- This will put me DIRECTLY in front of every voter explaining every penny spent each year.
- If the need arises that I may need a penny, nickle or dime from the tax-payer, then the registered voters can approve or disapprove my request via a referendum.

I will set and provide more training for the Deputies covering a wide spectrum.
- As a former USAF Regional Training Manager, I will provide real hands on training.
- I will develop, demonstrate and provide actual hands on scenario style training.
- Deputies will literally know how to "move, shoot and communicate" during intense scenarios.
- The current Office's training regimen is lacking and unacceptable...ask you local Deputy.

I will move to reduce City Governments paying excessive amounts for Coverage.
- Mary Esther and Destin currently pay MORE tax dollars for Sheriff Coverage.
- If the City does not establish the Police Organization it is still the SHERIFF's requirement to provide adequate coverage until such time as the City does establishes a Police Organization.

I will reduce vehicle usage by non-critical/non-emergency personnel.
- It took the administration 10-years to get the SWORN Deputies vehicles.
- The non-sworn/non-critical personnel had vehicles before the Deputies.
- Tax payers purchase the gas and insurance on those vehicles used by the Staff Support.
- I will create a small motor pool of vehicles to be used by the Staff for OFFICIAL use only.
- I WILL drive the same vehicles as the Deputies; I WILL NOT spend 30k-60K on a vehicle for myself or senior Deputies. (Recent purchace of GMC pickups...be sure to ask Larry Ashley where they came from and who owns the dealership!!!!)

During 2008 Campaign I showed the tax-payer how to initially save $2,000,000.
- I will continue to stream-line the budget without sacrificing Police Services, which is happening NOW!!!!! .  (BUDGET)
- There is more that can be cut to bring the Budget back to reasonable levels.

I will seek more Federal/State funding for various positions, training and equipment
  -- Now is the time to get more Grants to eleviate tax-payer burdens

I will work efficiently to unified the Police Services county-wide...make it a point to work mutually with the Police Departments on Joint Tactics and Responses
